So, I'm in the 2k wsop event and i have around 5k in chips when I bluff the smelly french guy we'll from now on call "stinky" w/ 8 high and he shows me QQ and folds....3 hands later I get KK and he raises under the gun to 600 i reraise to 2k and he thinks for awhile and says "you going to crack my QQ again?" and calls....Flop comes a84 and he insta-pushes all in...Now, I want to take my time and talk to him and figure out if he has an Ace or if he is making a move on me w/ weaker holding..I ask him "did you just stop and go me w/ qq? jj maybe?" he kinda shrugs and ignores me, when the guy next to him says "dealer..can we get a clock?" I shoot outta my seat and say "are you Fu$^ing kidding me? its been 20 seconds? why would you call a clock?" and he says "um, dealer that was an F-bomb dont forget the 10 min penalty" So, i'm freaking outat this point as I would like some time to get stinky to talk and put him on a hand..so to end this stupid story, I am on major tilt and call as i'd have to sit out my penalty anyways, he flips up a10 and i'm out.... I really hope I meet up w/ clock boy down the road as hes begging to wash the windows on my new beamer and I flick my wiper switch and hit him in the face w/ the windshield fluid

3 card poker

is the devil!!! After busting out relatively early in yesterdys 1k wsop event me and SamENole decided to play 3 card poker....I ended up 1400.....which as any gambler knows I'm now addicted and will lose entire bankroll.... We went home and played some online poker, and both FT'd the stars 100+9..and had to play w/ our laptops back to back battleship style so as to not be able to see one anothers cards and cheat... I took 3rd he took 6th...so we decided it was time to head out for some more 3 card poker....Me, SamE and premier all dropped atleast 2k (but got many many "free" drinks) and stumbled home as the sun came up...well....we dropped premier off at dennys first and then went home...the end...2k plhe today I decided to skip as i'm rather hungover...gl SamENole and H@ll though

Very disappointing finish in this one..I took 40th out of 1919 players (yes "that" 1919)... Once again this was another weird tournament for me, that played out almost exactly like the Mirage WPT last month.. I have/play a very aggressive style of tournament poker NORMALLY, but the last two events I have for whatever reason been very very passive, and just concentrated on picking my spots..Its not necessarily a bad/wrong way to play as many players have success being patient, but its not really my forte..Anyhow..finished day one at just over 40k in chips and was top 30 w/ 120 left and really happy with my position..Goinginto day 2 I had a really tough table that included Carlos Mortenson w/ a huge stack (thankfully on my right)
And Cindy violette two to my left...now these being the only name pros, it was a very aggressive table that left me handcuffed for a period of time...Built up to around 70k when get 66 in the sb and Carlos raises it up from button and I misread his prior aggressiveness as a steal and put him all in w/ 66..His 99 holds up and i'm down to 40k..Built up to around 90k w/ 45 left when I get a8 in the bb and its folded to Carlos in sb who raises to 15k (blinds 2k-4k) I think my only mistake in this hand was my reraise where I made it 37k more to him and he instapushed all in...I think the correct play was to push all in as he would have a very difficult time making this call, but very well could have..anyway he instapushed and I needed to use my talking/reading skills on this one big time...he said "you have 66 again?" and that got me thinking he didnt want a call..so i said..you have a7? and he looked genuinely preturbed at that comment so i ruled out a weak ace and said..I have a pretty crappy hand, but I think it might be good, and he goes "if you fold I'll show" so now I know he is dying for a fold, i calculate pot there is 125 k in and I have 53k left so i'm getting the right price if its a coinflip..I say "you know I think you are the one w/ the 66" and went w/ the old poker adage of "do the opposite of what your opponent wants you to do" so I called and he flipped up 77..GREAT READ by me, but I lost the race... Looking back, I never want to get all my chips in the middle for a race and risk whole tournament, but with my crappy 37k reraise, I feel i really commited myself..Anyways..I'm out..missed oppurtunity, plenty more to come..I'm back in SLC for the 4th of july and to get my new car..back to vegas on the 9th..

WSOP EVENT 6

Today was the 2000 buy in nlhe event..I finished the day w/ 41k in chips good for 36th place w/ 125 or so left...were in the money and i'm beat...got into townlate last night, and instead of going ot bed and getting some rest for the 12 hour poker day ahead of me, i went out and partied like a dumbass...anyways...pry going to take advice and hit sack early...luck anyne?
