I havent played much since the Mirage FT, maybe a SnG here or there on stars..
played the UB 200 this afternoon and busted out in 20th place or so...
had a craazy 20 hand sequence where I went from top 5 stack to shortstacked when my qq ran into kk and obv lost, worked it back up to 80k top 10 stack again when my aa couldnt hold off kk...
Oh well..I'm very happy w/ my play, and sometimes 2 outers hit (although they have cost me abuttload lately)

uuugh mirage is over

truly wish I could describe these feelings I have..A mixture of surprise, happiness, pride, extreme disappointment, and other crap... If you would have told me 5 days ago I would take 3rd in Mirage wpt I would obviously have been happy, but once you get there and dont win its so frustarating. I'm back home now...It was quite a night after the tournament, went out to a really really nice dinner, went partying etc etc etc
Good to be home, but cant wait to get back

Mirage day 2

Wow...what a emotional rollercoaster!! Started the day just under 50k..Had Minh Nguyen, David Grey at starting table, got my chips up to 120 k in the first 30 min w/out showing a hand! I was loving my table..so they obv moved me.Next table has The Grinder, Theo pham, Chris Tsipiralkdis (or something), David Singer, and two other Tran's I cant put a first name to.. There is also a Gus Hansen look alike who started giving me trouble early when he decided to reraise every single time I raised,I thanked him by busting him w/ 68..(no I didnt call all in preflop w/ 68, but i did push and he call w/ board of 267 and my 6's were good..) So, they replaced him w/ Phil Ivey...excellent, then they broke another table and for awhile my table had Ivey, Joe cassidy, Jason lester, David Singer, Minh Nguyen, Toto leonidas, AND john Juanda....I wish i was making this upI talked w/ Phil for a little bit about the nba games going on (its sick how much this guy has on one freaking game), when I get 77 on button and raise it to 9k, he reraises to 27k from the sb and I call...flop AJ10 and he leads out for 30k, I thinik for a little bit, and put him on QQ or KK, and decide I can move him off and reraise to 115k..he thinks FOREVER then mucks and says "I had queens"..I say "good fold i had set tens" he says " I dont believe you had 1010"......hes goot He was clearly upset about the way things were going and raising just about every pot..I picked up JdQd in late position and raised and he just called this time.. flop AdKd5s I check he bet i go ahead and put him all in, and he calls w/ aq and i flush it on the turn... I hovered at 350k for most of the tournament,, lost a huge hand vs. minh nguyen that would have put me over 500k..I raised utg 11k w/ aa he called w/ 99 flop was 788, I led out weak bet of 12k he reraised to 40k I pushed him all in (he had 60k behind) and he insta called and rivered the 9..

Mirage WPT

I'm sitting w/ just under 50k at the end of day 1 play...Was up to 75k for a little bit there and made my one crucial mistake of the day and lost big pot right before play ended....avg. stack is 35k so i'm ahead of the "pack", but definitely not happy w/ how it ended....Play starts tomorrow noon pst...Im really surprised that only 400 or so people showed up..first is 1.3 million though... Had a ton of big name players at my table throughout the day (joe cassidy, men "the master" nguyen, an tran, jc tran, kido pham, jim bechtel) as you can tell a lot of asian names....boy are they aggressive too...wish me luck

of these days i'm going to win these damn races..
havent played much these past few weeks, but when i do it seems like i'm losing sooo many key races..I know I know everyone complains about their luck...anyway...deep in 50r on stars and $100 ub...cant wait to lose these races...

Rollercoaster

So last night in the Ub $100 15k guarantee I bubbled the Ft in 11th place....this doesnt bother me...What bothers me is the manner in which it all happend. I went from chipleader to last place to chip leader FOUR times from 50 people on down...all of my trips to the bottom being at the hands of a bad beat..I mean 4 outs or less...If even one of those doesnt hit I no doubt make FT and huge favorite to take atleast top 3......ahhh oh well.. I felt like I kept my composure well (might have just been sheer disbelief)....On slate today: PokerStars million, Ub 125k, and probably thats it for todays majors...missed most of the registration as I slept through them all
